704 W Elizabeth Compound — Bouldin

A Modern Approach To Design — Elizabeth St. is a two-unit gated compound, filled to the brim with thoughtful, inviting design choices and top-of-the-line interior finishes. The spacious property sits nestled in the heart of Bouldin Creek, and provides easy access to the restaurants and shops of South Lamar, South 1st, and many of the other best parts of Austin living.

Designed and built by the world-class team at Joseph Design Build, both layouts were carefully arranged to maximize space, comfort, and functionality. The main house features an open concept first-story floor plan that seamlessly blends the kitchen and living room into a single gorgeous space, making it perfect for entertaining or hosting. The tasteful floor-to-ceiling windows offer ample natural light, as well as unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape. Natural stone countertops and backsplash pair perfectly with the built-in wooden cabinets and cleverly-hidden Wolf/Subzero appliances, and give the entire space a warm and creative ambiance.

The outside pool and spa area is intimate and fully closed off from the street, and sits directly adjacent to the patio and fireplace for optimal convenience.

The second floor holds the secluded owners suite, which includes a standing tub, enormous enclosed shower area, dual standing sinks, and walk-in closet. Across from those spaces are two additional bedrooms and the shared bathroom, which helps keep all the living spaces bundled but distinct.

The back house is smaller but equally well-designed. Its simple layout makes it perfect for use as a guesthouse, office area, or potential source of income as a rental or Airbnb.

Surrounding both units is a dark wood fence, which includes a gate for the driveway. This helps keep the entire property cohesive, but would allow the units to be easily subdivided.

714 Elizabeth is also less than a five-minute walk from Becker Elementary and Nicholas Dawson Neighborhood Park — two beloved fixtures of the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. It is more than just a prestigious compound. It was designed to be lived in and enjoyed, and you can feel that welcoming energy the moment you walk in the door.
